Åse Johannessen got awarded a VR international postdoc grant entitled "Living with floods: Social learning for sustainable flood risk management”. The grant will fund her interesting research for three years, investigating transition processes to more resilient and sustainable approaches and practices in flood risk management through a comparative case study of the Netherlands and Sweden. The research will be done at TU-Delft in The Netherlands and Lund University in Sweden, and the results are expected to inform Swedish, European and international water, risk reduction, climate adaptation and urban sustainable development policy and research.
