On March 23 the EU-project 1Future had its first kick-off meeting. 1Future (jOiNEd For sUsTainability - bUilding climate REsilient communities in WB and EU) is a collaboration between several Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) at the Western Balkans (WB) and three EU universities. Lund University, through the Division of risk management and societal safety, is one of the participants. The project will continue for the coming three years, and the main aim is for WB universities to build teaching and research capacity in the areas of sustainability, climate change adaptation and resilience. The project include study visits and teaching exchanges – the first being in Lund 13-16 June.
