“Spikning” of Lexin Lin’s PhD Thesis

– Published 7 May 2018

On Wednesday, May 2, 2018, Lexin Lin has announced the publication of her PhD thesis, which is entitled “Risk Communication in Multi-Stakeholder Disaster Risk Management Systems: Insights and recommendations from the Swedish system”.

The spikning tradition has been followed with some modern touch at the Division of Risk Management and Societal safety. Instead of nailing the PhD thesis to a piece of wood, all the PhD thesis are displayed on a shelf in the common area of the division.

Lexin’s PhD thesis is now available both online (https://lucris.lub.lu.se/admin/files/41713462/Lexin_Lin_s_Thesis_final_version.pdf) and at the division.

Lexin’s public defense will take place on Friday May 18, 2018 at 10.15 am in lecture hall V:D, V-building, John Ericssons väg 1, Lund University, Faculty of Engineering, LTH. Opponent appointed by the Faculty is Professor David Alexander, United Kingdom.
