Dr Amanda Bertana from University of Maine is visiting 19-23 May

Amanda Bertana is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Maine. She received her PhD in Sociology in 2018 from the University of Utah. Her research focuses on the global political economy of ecological degradation, environmental justice, and environmental governance models. She has done extensive fieldwork in the Fiji Islands looking at how coastal communities are working with government and non-state actors to implement relocation as an adaptation to sea level rise. Amanda is visiting Lund University as part of a trip for networking and data collection in Scandinavia.
